Monchique Challenge

The Monchique mountains make a natural setting where all necessary conditions come together for a unforgettable day filled with adrenaline and adventure. Based on our experience in guiding outdoors and knowledge of the area we try to put together in series of activities accessable for anybody in a way to get the very best out of your day in our Serra de Monchique.

  • 4 km walk from Monchique town up to Foía (902 m.)
  • Rock climbing and abseiling beginner's course
  • Cable slide
  • 20 km mountain bike descending trail
  • Canoe trip on Bravura Lake

Monchique Challenge can be organised any day of the week, all year round, as long as weather conditions allow.

4-5 hours: 75 euro, minimum of 2 participants

  • Lagos, Luz: 50 euro
  • Albufeira, Armação de Pêra: 70 euro
