Via Algarviana 2023 - guided mtb adventure

This challenging, guided cross country mountain bike holiday spans the whole of the Via Algarviana, a little known network of ancient tracks connecting the people of Southern Portugal to their land and settlements. lt will challenge your skills, with over 300 kilometers (and a daily average of 1500m altitude) of off-road fun!      

ITINERARY

This year we will be biking Via Algarviana from west to east. Setting out from Cabo de São Vicente and including alterations and improvements to the original route on several riding sections as well as accommodations.   

Day 1 

Transfer Loulé - Cabo de São Vicente

Riding from Cabo de São Vicente to Pincho, 59 km, 1100 m.d+

Day 2 

Riding from Pincho to Silves, 62 km, 1750 m.d+

Day 3 

Riding from Silves to Salir, 66 km, 1370 m.d+

Day 4 

Riding from Salir to vaqueiros, 65 km, 2180 m.d+

Day 5 – Sunday 7th November

Riding from Vaqueiros to Alcoutim, 60 km, 1570 m.d+

Transfer Alcoutim - Loulé

The price for this guided mountain bike trip is €395,00 pp.

Included:

• 4 nights shared accommodation in rural hotels/lodges, b&b

Not included:

• MTB rental (available at €90,00 for the 5 riding days)
• Lunch, snacks and beverages & dinners

Is the Via Algarviana tour for me?

This MTB adventure is suitable for people over the age of 15 with solid mountain bike experience and a good fitness level. Please make sure that you and your equipment are in excellent condition for this demanding week.
