Downhill and freeride shuttle runs

Downhill and freeride shuttle runs

There are several downhill and freeride tracks in Algarve that we use to do shuttle runs. If you want to book a day with us on one of these tracks, you will have to bring your own bike and equipment. If you are capable to ride tracks like this you will know how hard they can be on equipment! You will need a full suspension bike and a full-face helmet. we also recommend you have pads as large parts of the tracks are on granite.

The tracks we use are:

  • National competition track: near Faro, very technical, with big jumps and drops.
  • Freeride track: This is down an extinct volcano and is 5,5 km long, it gets very technical in places and has some north shore style riding towards the bottom.
  • Downhill track: This is on the same volcano, but shoots straight down the side of the hill. It has steep rocky shoots, big berms and some jumps.

We run shuttles in one of our vehicles and we can get in 8 runs in a day. A packed lunch is provided and there are several cafés nearby for a drink and a chance to get your breath . If you have the skills and the equipment then contact us for an extreme day out.

Full day: 65 euro, groups of 4 or more have 10% discount.
