Canoe trip, nature walk, 4x4 panoramic mountain tour

A day of action, adventure and excitement in an area of rare beauty and atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. 

You are picked up from your holiday accommodation by jeep and taken to the meeting point where today's activities are outlined. First we go on a canoe trip in the calm waters of the gently flowing Arade river and its silent and peaceful valleys. 

Back on land it's time to stretch the legs. We take of for a walk following meandering single tracks to hidden villages, passing cork trees and eucalyptus, through orange and lemon grooves and many other kinds of vegetation that our guides will name and explain to you.

All these activities create an apetite, so we head towards a local restaurant for a typical lunch. In the afternoon our professional drivers take you in the secure and steady 4x4s and through the mountain area in the heart of Algarve. Up and down hills, crossing streams, enjoy endless panoramas and views to the north and south while you're introduced to the mountain life, customs, culture, crafts, flora and fauna.

Tours are organised all year round, as long as weather conditions allow.
