BTT 3 Mountain trail

Mtb route at Bordeira, Aljezur council. Beautiful ride through the hills east of Bordeira and along the borders of the Vicentina Natural Park (PNSAV). A 100% dirt road circuit, first through terrain forested with pine, cork oak, rock rose and arbutus (medronheiro) passing old settlements as Endiabrada and Almarinhos. Later as we are getting up to the wind turbines of Espinhaço de Cão we are mainly surrounded by eucalyptus. From there it is down the hill again to meet the Bordeira river at Samouqueira which takes us back to Bordeira relaxed cruising the comfortable tracks through the shady forest.
